Founded in 1904 by immigrants from Sciacca, Sicily, the Maria SS. del Soccorso di Sciacca Society of Norristown is one of the oldest and most respected Sicilian-American organizations in Pennsylvania. For more than 120 years the Society has carried its devotion, its historic banner, and its annual feast and procession from one generation to the next.
Our Role
Mx2 led a complete brand refresh for the Maria Santissima del Soccorso Society — bringing an over-a-century-old institution fully up to date while honoring its heritage. We created a modern design system and identity, then extended it across the entire brand: letterhead and stationery, devotional holy cards and signage. That same identity carries onto a brand new, fully tri-lilingual website and a member portal built from scratch. The new system, including a member directory with dues tracking, event RSVPs, document archives, and admin tools — allows this historic lodge to run its next century digitally. In addition, the agency is building the strategy for a refreshed social media presence across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as well as closely integrating a text message communication platform.
This engagement continues building on one of Mx2’s specialty practices — a dedicated focus on Italian and Italian-American brands, where genuine fluency in the language, the culture, and the heritage is built into the work, not bolted on.
