SMS Consent Collection
Medici + Maestro Agency collects SMS consent through our products before sending any SMS to a recipient. Consent is captured per recipient, per category, with a timestamp.
Where Consent Is Collected
1. Account settings (client.mx2.agency/account)
Users see two checkboxes — separate, not pre-ticked:
- ☐ Send me transactional SMS (verification codes, password resets, account activity alerts, 2FA on login)
- ☐ Send me marketing SMS from Medici + Maestro Agency (announcements, event invitations, service offerings). I understand consent is not a condition of purchase.

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive SMS from Medici + Maestro Agency at the categories selected above. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for details.
2. Event participation (per-event)
Photography and videography vendors and event participants opt in when they confirm participation in a specific agency-managed event shoot. The confirmation prompt includes the same SMS disclosure copy and a per-event SMS opt-in checkbox.
3. Phone number verification
Users entering a new phone number complete a 6-digit verification step before that number receives any further SMS.
Opt-Out
Recipients may opt out at any time by:
- Replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any SMS from our number
- Toggling consent off in their account settings
Opt-out is honored within seconds and applies to all categories the recipient was opted in to. Marketing opt-out can be revoked independently of transactional opt-out.
Data Retention
Consent records (opt-in timestamp, IP address, category, source URL or product surface) are retained for the life of the recipient’s account plus 4 years, per CTIA recommendations.
